Here are some 5 star reviews from our customers on Google.
From our initial conversation at a home show, all the way to install, and now afterwards, our experience with Tyler and his crew has been wonderful! The meeting in our home to go over our quote was great, Tyler was courteous and professional the whole time, we never felt pressured, and he and throughly answered any questions that we had. The quote we received wasn't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive either. Our biggest deciding factor for choosing Astrawatt/Tyler was the fact that they use REC solar panels, and they are one of the top rated solar panels, with a panel degradation rate far below industry average! If you're going to spend the money, why not get the best you can! They also do everything in house! No 3rd party crews where you don't know who or what quality you're going to get. Install of our equipment was a pleasant experience as well, It took a few days to complete the install due to rainy weather, but the install guys were very courteous and professional as well. They were very respectful of our home and made sure to keep their trash and things picked up. Aside from the footsteps on the roof, or the sound of a tool, I wouldn't have known they were there! Install of the system itself looks professional, everything is so neat and tidy! Our system has been operational for a couple weeks now, and it is performing exactly as it was quoted to do! The app to monitor usage and production is also a big plus! If you're looking to go solar, give Tyler and his crew a call!

Tyler Sanchez with AstraWatt Solar did an amazing Job getting us equip with Solar! It was estimated to take 6 to 8 weeks but it only took 3weeks. He also updated us the entire process. I never felt in the dark on anything. Definitely would recommend this company! Such an awesome experience!

Very honest and transparent company. They even encourage outside quotes so that you make the best decision based on your needs. I also like that they are locally owned and the entire process is done through them directly. They walk you through every detail and they even offer continued support beyond installation .

I want to thank Tyler Sanchez and Astrawatt Solar. Tyler is a true professional dedicated to providing the best sales, merchandise, and solar system components the industry has to offer. Tyler and Astrawatt can be best described with 3 words, honesty, integrity, and excellence. Tyler walked us through the entire process of designing our system based on our particular needs and wants, and offered the absolute best prices, exceptional warranty, and unlimited after the sale support. Installation of our 30 panel system took less than a day, and every installer was a skilled pro. Wires were run through our attic with virtually no conduit on the outside of the house. Not only does the system perform better than promised, the panels on the roof and controllers on the side of the house look terrific. It's very rare for me to rate a company or product 5 stars, but Tyler Sanchez, Astrawatt Solar who he represents, and the Tier 1 products they sell and install all get a solid 5 star rating from me. I almost forgot to mention that my electric bill last month was 4 bucks. In tne middle of the winter with more cloudy days than sunny days, and the short daylight of winter, it was 4 BUCKS. Oklahoma Solar Incentives and Tax Credits
Federal Solar Tax Credit
The federal solar tax credit is a great benefit for homeowners in Oklahoma and will be your biggest source of cost reduction when you go solar.
The Investment Tax Credit (ITC), also called the federal solar tax credit, helps you reduce the cost of your solar energy system. You can deduct 30% of the cost of your solar energy system from your federal income taxes. There is no cap on the value of your tax credit and it applies to both residential and commercial systems.
The federal solar tax credit was recently increased to 30% and its timeline has been extended. If you install a solar PV system between now and 2032 you will receive a 30% tax credit. If you’ve already installed your solar system in 2022, your tax credit has been increased from 26% to 30% and you can take advantage of the increased tax savings.
Net Metering in Oklahoma
Net Metering is when your utility company monitors how much energy your home’s solar system produces and how much energy you consume. If your home’s solar system generates a surplus of energy, you will receive a credit from your utility company for that surplus energy.
Homeowners in some states receive full retail rate credit for the amount of surplus energy you send back into the grid. In Oklahoma, you receive credits at an avoided cost rate for the amount of surplus energy you generate.
Avoided cost rate is the amount it would have cost your utility company to burn coal or gas at one of its plants to generate electricity.
In Oklahoma, the utility companies are not required to purchase your surplus energy like they are in other states. You can request that your utility company purchase your surplus energy, but the final decision is up to each individual utility company.
We recommend that you research and speak with your utility company about your net metering options.
